Like it? Yeah, so do I. Well, more like love it. It's absolutely perfect for the book. It captures the whimsical, magical, spooky feel of it. Plus, it's beautiful. Now for the jacket cover with the basic
design:
And here it is with all text. Do you see how it looks like a REAL book? Also, the spine is a tree! I'm not sure it can get much cooler than that:
Here's the jacket cover flap:
Literally.
Being the only Nightmare at Arkwell Academy, a boarding school for magickind, and living in the shadow of her mother’s infamy is hard enough, but when Dusty sneaks into Eli Booker’s house, things get a whole lot more complicated. He’s hot, which means sitting on his chest and invading his dreams couldn’t get much more embarrassing.
But it does.
Eli is dreaming of a murder. The setting is Arkwell.
And then his dream comes true. Now Dusty has to follow the clues—both within Eli’s dreams and out of them—to stop the killer before more people turn up dead. And before the killer learns what she’s up to and marks her as the next target…

ReplyDeleteAhhh Mindee! I love the full jacket so much even all-caps and a gazillion exclamation marks couldn't express how much! My favorite new bit might be how Dusty appears in silhouette on the spine -- like a cameo! So, so cool.
ReplyDeleteI love the silhouette look and the pretty purple color
ReplyDeleteThis book sounds awesome!!! The whole "nightmare" thing sounds really interesting plus a murder mystery :) I love the cover- sometimes the "real people" covers & "in big prom dresses" is getting used too much and is quite annoying. SO this cover is REFRESHING!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love this cover! It's simple, but complex... Does that make sense? And the color scheme is gorgeous! So eye-catching! And the blurb has me dying to get my hands on it!
